The Reliance We Have On God In Relation To Family/Friend Bonds.
As a Summer Reading requirement, my English class had to read The Outsiders. A major theme in The Outsiders was that you have to stick up for your family and friends. To be a good friend or a good family member you have to be there for one another. When someone you love is in need of help, you have to be there to help them. That's what being a friend or being a family is all about. I chose to use a picture of praying hands to symbolize the family/friend ties that were so prominant in The Outsiders. I chose praying hands because that obviously represents prayer. God is always there for us when we need Him...just like the characters in The Outsiders. The characters in the novel were there for each other just like God is there for all of us. We rely on God in almost the same way that we rely on our friends and our family.

I really like how you made the connection to God.
